Scaling With Social

Effective August 19, 2026

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of Scaling With Social Publishing.

Acceptance and authority

By using Scaling With Social Publishing, including by authorizing a Google or Instagram account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you act for a business, channel owner, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to authorize access, publish content, or manage customer conversations for that organization.

The service

The service lets an authorized client connect a channel to Scaling With Social so SWS can identify the intended channel and upload or schedule client-provided video content, metadata, and thumbnails. It also lets an authorized client connect an Instagram professional account so authorized SWS team members can view inbound direct-message conversations and manually reply within Meta's permitted response window. The specific workflow remains subject to the client's separate service arrangement with SWS.

You may revoke authorization at any time. Revocation stops future API access but does not automatically remove videos already published to the connected channel.

Instagram and Meta terms

Instagram and Meta are third-party services that SWS does not control. Use of the Instagram conversation feature is also subject to the applicable Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, Instagram Terms of Use, and Instagram Privacy Policy. The feature does not permit unsolicited outreach and does not guarantee that Meta will accept a reply after its response window closes.

YouTube and Google terms

The service uses YouTube API Services. By using the service, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your content and instructions

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant SWS the limited permission necessary to prepare, transmit, upload, schedule, and manage that content according to your instructions and service arrangement. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content, music, trademarks, people, and claims it contains.

You are responsible for confirming titles, descriptions, audience designations, publishing dates, and other instructions supplied for publication.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized content;
  • connect an account or channel you do not have permission to manage;
  • use the Instagram conversation feature for unsolicited outreach, spam, harassment, or messages outside Meta's permitted response window;
  • bypass security controls, probe the service, or misuse one-time connection links;
  • interfere with Google, YouTube, SWS, or another user's systems or access; or
  • violate applicable law, the YouTube Terms of Service, or Google and YouTube developer policies.

Third-party services

Google and YouTube are third-party services that SWS does not control. Their availability, account rules, review decisions, quotas, and platform functionality may change. SWS is not responsible for a third-party suspension, outage, policy decision, or change outside our reasonable control.

Service availability and liability

We work to operate the service securely and reliably, but it is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, SWS disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the publishing connection. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes, termination, and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. We may suspend access when necessary for security, legal compliance, policy compliance, or misuse. You may stop using the service and request disconnection at any time.

Questions about these Terms or the publishing connection may be sent to hunter@hunternelson.com.
